Living in Bukit Panjang for close to 30 years, photojournalist Ng Sor Luan is drawn to the beauty of Pang Sua Pond, which after a 30-month makeover by the PUB as part of the Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) scheme, has turned into a new wetland attraction that connects the community. The revitalised pond now features Singapore’s second-largest man-made floating wetland, scenic treks and flora and fauna for residents in our urban city. Ms Ng captures the area's quiet nature and abundant greenery, which are part of the considerable charms of this slow-growing estate more famous for its LRT breakdowns than any fancy attractions. The myhomeSG video series by ST's photojournalists looks into their connection to places that hold a special meaning to them.
