More than 100 world leaders made two big commitments on Tuesday (Nov 2) to halt and even reverse forest loss and land degradation by 2030.

In a separate pledge, they agreed to slash emissions of potent greenhouse gas methane by 30 per cent from 2020 levels by 2030.
