<p>INDIAN WELLS (California) - FIFTH-SEEDED Russian Nikolay Davydenko learned on Sunday that his painful left wrist is broken, and he'll be sidelined for four weeks, ATP tour officials said.</p><p>Davydenko withdrew from the Indian Wells Masters 1000, where he had already played and won one match - beating young Latvian Ernests Gulbis in his second-round opener on Saturday.</p>

<p>MIAMI - ERNIE Els fended off a challenge from fellow South African Charl Schwartzel to win the CA Championship by four strokes on Sunday, serving notice a month before the Masters that he is back on form.</p><p>Els and Schwartzel were even with eight holes to play, but Els proved the steadier player down the stretch as he pulled away in a testing breeze at Doral's Blue Monster in the US$8.5 million (S$11.9 million) World Golf Championships event.</p>

<p>SYDNEY - AUSTRALIA'S central bank has not yet decided whether to regulate a further reduction in the transaction fees charged by credit card companies, a top official said on Monday.</p><p>Reserve Bank of Australia Assistant Governor Malcolm Edey told a payments conference it was not yet clear whether competition in the card industry would be enough to ensure lower fees without regulation.</p>

<p>KUALA LUMPUR - THE Sultan of Kelantan returned home from a long stay at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore this month - only to find his royal household in ill health. </p> <p>Two of his three sons are feuding over the throne, with the eldest asserting his right as Acting Sultan, while his two wives are also at odds. Sultan Ismail Petra, 60, suffered a heart attack on May 14 last year, and had been recovering in hospital ever since.</p>
